yea foreal it's easier said than done. cos for me i'm used to living in the ups and downs. when i don't do it i feel like i'm on this neutral flat plane and everything seems so monotone, and i become indifferent to everything that happens around me.

hah chris funny man... we are the eXponents of eXcess... chey bah! lol... well i think qt helps, and pray that he blocks off some of the temptations that will inevitably come your way. for eg i get really pissed off at times when i have the motivation to quit but once i step of out the house someone walks past me with a butt in his mouth and i'm like get the hell out of my sight, so i asked God to help make these occurences less and he did it for me. he can do the same for you too. whatever it is don't give up quitting, and as long as it's your heart's desire to quit he'll give it to you. and qt regularly.

hey guys. its really cool that you guys ve shared your addictions here. Perhaps this would make it easier? Remember Jesus died for all this struggle. Jesus died so you could have strength in your struggles with your addictions. Only with God and the Holy Spirit can you overcome and you guys are doing great, never giving up Keep it up. I'm proud of you guys. Even though I don't know exactly how hard it is to quit exactly what you guys are going through, I do know how hard it is through my own addictions. I observed that when I try to use my own human strength, I fail and kick myself continuously about it. But when I surrender it to God who knows all things and all my weaknessed and failures, he gives me his strength and somehow, I am renewed in my will. So keep going guys! He knows how hard you struggle is and says "Do not give up, I am with you every step of the way even though you may not feel me."

that was an unecessary post timmy. for me i'd like to share my testimony of God working his wonder in me cos it's day 42 for me today and it's really amazing when i look back and see how far i've come. i think it's been a little easier for me to not think about the sticks but the temptation is always there when i hang out at pubs or bars or even at the poolside.
nevertheless, i told God that this quitting business is a partnership between Him and I that i can't pray that he takes away the addiction for me but i have to put ineffort as well, a two way thang to make things happen. so yea been praying for the strength and everyday i honour that partnership by asking him to give me the strength i need first thing in the morning or when i get the first whiff of smoke on the streets.
