Would you rather recreate history or create history? Why?

i would rather create history... because if i were to recreate what happened we would not be what we are today... if i were to change one inch of history it might have an effect just imagine... if i were to stop a war then... it will happen now... one thing u cannot change is men; or imagine i stopped the 9/11 attacks singapore would not be ready for a terror attack and stop terror attacks that were supposed to happen since 9/11...
i wanna create history cause i can~!

yeah exactly...i would create history too.
its like the whole time continuum theory. if u mess with even the slightest of killing an insect in the past, the future will invitably take a course in change. and what will happen would be totally different. if anyone watched heroes, it would be clearer. but then again we are not talking about the time continuum theory. yes i get what you mean by recreating history.
there are slight differences really, recreating history is a lot of effort and determination tryin to eradicate the flaw in that history, which is the course of any revolutionist. i guess before i was thinking of creating history, i'd say with more thought i want to recreate history.
creating history would then come naturally, cause the revolutionist would recreated history has created history per se. look at it...so i'd think that its pretty much the same, u create a history, and that history is most of the time similar what the previous history was, hence sounding like recreating history.
but also you could be the first person to do so, well that takes more than just effort and determination, it takes creativity and ideas. well as much as i love to recreate history, this is what i would want to do as well...i think the priority really is for me to recreate something and that recreation would become a history in itself.

we will still be naked and be in awe of how smart and wonderful God is. there will be no need for Jesus Christ to be sacrificed. but there would be other consquences...of course since u wrecked the time space contiuum.

In context of ACTS of the apostles, I would want to create history and do what they did back than. Going around traveling to countries, praying for the sick and the beggars on the street preaching, praying over ppl. It would be really cool if our group could do that, It will be like, we r the apostles but in modern times.

let's go to ehthiopia!
I know this australian friend who travels with this group of young volunteers of any religion, to go do mission. and she's about 18-19? It's so cool. Can't remember which place they went to last year but this year, they've gone to somewhere in China and Ethiopia.

yea word i think i'd wana create history. but i'd start with my way of thinking, and challenge myself to do things i would never do or didnt do yesterday, like talking to a stranger. i think it helps me better myself as a servant. i read this quote that said, 'it would be a tragedy if you lived 2 consecutive days on the same spiritual plane.". kinda made sense to me. and one actor in indiana jones 4 said too much human life is lost in waiting. and it really hit me cos i'm always procrastinating.

Create history. Haha to me, this reminds me of my revolution or evolution question I've been asking. Well, create a revolution or an evolution? I guess I am more of revolutionary based at the current moment, I like to learn, stem and then source for improvement from History. However, if the current practices have lost its sole purpose from history, i.e. traditions and customs, i would rather create an evolution of sorts.
I am sure whatever happens in history has got each its own purpose. If we were given powers to recreate history, things will be very different. (Just like what Eddy has said about watching Heroes lol.) History, will no longer be in anybody's vocabulary.

hmm sometimes that's the thing that bites me. cos at times i get too caught up in the present that i neglect certain friendships that i forgot still existed. there's a tendency for me to fall into that, and recently i forgot it was one of my ex-classmate's bday and the rest remembered to wish him except me.
i was too busy getting caught up at the moment with all my activities. and i actually failed this guy once alr by failing to send him off at the airport. and now i figure things would be very awkward the next time i see him and the other 2 friends as well. sometimes i find it very love, i don't exactly itnend to forget but i do.
digressing a little here but just wana bring up the point that i guess new events cannot be made without insights into the past, and sometimes progressing is hard because of the difficulty of letting go of some past events, which will inevitably hold you back from achieving what you wana achieve. its a constant struggle.
"and i know, i may have let some friends down but i hope, that they understand me somehow"
sorry emo a bit lol... these just came into my head when i was free worshipping God, cos at that point i wanted to express all i was feeling as i mentioned.

awww its okay ben haha. i know what you mean though. the past can work both ways. new events in the present could not be what they are if not for insights from the past yet, as Ben said, it can hold you pack, you can get caught up in it.
Creating history of course. As Jules said, there is a reason for everything and God let it happen.
