You know today 15 april 2008, I realized something. I realized that when I was called. I was called to be a evangelizer where I put my talent to good use. I was called use music as my tool to reach out to people around me. Be it through songs, or my talks with them after my gigs and influencing them.
And last friday, at the planetshakers and Tim Hughes worship. I realized I was somehow able to convince my guitarist who strayed away from God for a long while to attend. And the best part was, he got home only like at 7pm and he was considering not attending. But suddenly he called me and his mum drove him down immediately.
And the best part was, during Tim Hughes set, he was singing his lungs out. And towards the end of the night he raised his hands as we were praying for the Spirit to dawn upon us. That really touched me to the very core, because he is one of the most difficult to convince person on earth (people who know him will understand what I'm saying).
I figured in many ways, when we are called to evangelize, we dont just have to reach out when we are playing music or exhibiting our arts. But at the very same time we can meet people with such interests and talk to them about God and let them experience God.
So you know after that, he and I decided to grab my other guitarist and possibly my drummer to Hillsongs. The other guitarist was pretty stoked about going and we both warned him that he might get converted and he was like I wont I wont but I guess if God gave that opportunity for us to invite him, He will sow some seeds in him indefinitely, and I await the day we become U2.haha.
Ok a little far'fetched but hey with God I believe anything is possible. Didn't it go, Saviour He can move the mountains...He is mighty to save...mighty to save...
