thanks ben :Dthat was really nice OKAY!! I HALF-SORT OF FUFILLED ONE OF MY RESOLUTIONS! Exploring dance? One of the workshops on Devising Theatre in Sydney allowed me to do that. The guy Chris started off with a simple game that is practised worldwide in theatre. It involves two people, one person doing slow movements and the other person standing in front of that person mirroring that person. From time to time, someone calls out change and the person leading changes and the challenge is to make these changes as slow as possible. Slowly, he got us in groups of 4, standing in a diamond shape and doing this, but this time you could be fast, slow, rough or smooth and he said its fine if someone does a forward roll, you just do YOUR version of it. After that, he asked for 3 leaders and I was voted in. We ended up having our "followers" who did exactly what we did. We could do anything, just be in contrast with everyone. He played lovely beat-changing music. It was all beautiful, you had 3 different groups moving on stage, some "lost" people (people who stood still until they could see a leader- the got lost by NOt being able to see the leader) and you could follow any leader you liked. It was fine if a leader had no followers, it meant that they were doing a solo. Anyway I really really danced around the stage, creating shapes, skipping, lying on the floor, twisting and incorporating some of my early ballet training i had. I didn't hold back, somehow, all reserves were lost, I didn't feel self-conscious at all (the only thing that bothered me was that I was wearing a skirt with leggings and I was wondering if my underwear was showing half the time). Somehow the atmosphere was one of.. I don't know. We were so unafraid to try and later on Iniki affirmed me, saying that I looked really nice leading. It was awesome! I think, though, for my resolution to be complete, I want to take up something regular, if only I had the time!

fantastic amanda...
i think we should really be proud to use our talents and gifts. you know celebrate it. not hide it. feeling comfortable is a state of mind everyone has to overcome. but i think for a sec there u knocked down that monster of a feeling and express yourself as u truly are. come as u are.
well anyways there's always time believe or not. i really believe in good time management. i dont know how bad ur situation is. but a little tip is balance. balance up everythang u do. and then u will find some space.

yea awesome stuff amanda, i think that game's very interesting, i'd love to try it lol. and yea about time management i really suck at it cos i i always lose my battles with this monster called Procrastination. balance is definitely good, and also remember your priorities.

procarstination. one of my monsters too. i blieve that i've got to battle it with my "sense of urgency" hahaha. ah well. i know one day ill get to explore dance. i'm also working on my other reos which is the most common reso i;'d say is to keep healthy! i've been eating less (or trying to) and exercising, i made myself run in the morning though ive been so tired the last few days. its okay! tomorrow morning before class starts, GYM! and my muscles are more defined after PE where we hit the gym a bit and i had fruit for recess! and my belt feels looser awesomeness!
