it's almost mid-way 2008...
i was clearing up some stuff, now that i have time to, and i chanced across a list of resolutions i had writen down in the beginning of the year, 10 to be exact and i have managed to keep...
absolutely none of them.
isn't it easy to forget these things. argh... now that list is re-writen and pasted in my journal so i can see it everyday. now that army is no longer an excuse, i hope i can keep these resolutions.

lol i managed to fulfill only about half of my list i think.. they're mainly objectives to be met, not really resolutions of sorts. haha. i can share with you..
1. lose more weight to a healthier Julia and maintain my exercise routines. [checked] 2. i was never tidy, it's just that i live in a very organized mess, like Beethoven. [not yet, i'm still as untidy as ever] 3. make an effort to show more compassion especially during hard times. [in the making] 4. still study hard and keep up the pace [especially when i head to NIE] but this time, it is the process that rules over results. 5. I will get my DipAB (I just hope i pass, it will be a good learning experience and opportunity) [Took it this year, however the results have yet to arrive] 6. Proper QT for God especially since I've stepped up in eXcess for servant leadership. [in the making, my QT's starting to be regular though] 7. maintain or make an effort to get into a deeper relationship with eXcess peeps (especially with leaders) and God [ehh this... leave it to you guys.. lol] 8. continue to establish closer relationships/friendships 9. adopt servant leadership [still very new to this] 10. be a good daughter. [lol, this is like an ongoing reminder each year]
yup with that, these are my objectives, looks like they're in progress, yup! =)
maybe you guys can start something small or something, or just decide on ONE to improve on each year, well, i can definitely share and say that it's extremely beneficial to oneself as well as to others around you. =)
Don't give up!!

Maybe you can set something like these:
i resolve to
1. Do whatever is most important to God.
2. do my duty, (as a Christian on top of my job) for the good of mankind in general.
3. do all things for the glory of God.
4. give praise to God in all things.
5. pray more and study God's word steadily, constantly and frequantly.
6. be humble and willing to learn from all happenings/people.
7. have courage to teach
8. have complete desire to forgive
9. complete tasks that have been given to me
10. Love unconditionally, like how God loves.
i saw some of the above somewhere, someone had good resolutions i thought should be my goals as well.
well guys, remind me if i go off track eh? thanks...

mine of course was to LOSE WEIGHT to be healthier through exercise and eating healthy; sometimes achieved, sometimes not, lately not, i've been eating a lot coz i've been stressed out with exams but yay now time for exercising. anyone wanna go with me?
um, also yeah for me to be nicer to my parents! and for me to be more God-centred, therefore, others-centred.
And for me to try new things that no one would think i would do, no matter what people say. Haha. Okay, yeah I almost planned to take up ballet (to widen my versatility as an actor in the perfoming arts; ballet would help in physical theatre) and prove all those who laugh at me wrong, and i'd know i'd really force myself to have discipline to lose weight.
I knew if I did it'd be a struggle. I know there are a lot of times I'd have been depressed and down, people laughing at me, me feeling like I can't do it, but it would make me strong inside!
But unfortunately, there's absolutely no time this year. Maybe in future I will take up ballet!
I actually do like to dance, its such a wonderful form of expressing my emotions, but over the years, being on the bigger side, I feel self-conscious.
OKAY! YES! ANOTHER THING! I SHALL EXPLORE DANCE BY THE END OF THE YEAR! Its not about how big I am or how I look, its about EXPRESSION!
