Hi all,
so, as you all know, i've ORD-ed. i haven't seen much of my friends for the past 2 years and now that i'm free from army, many of them are meeting and catching up with me.
this month, i had last month's bills to pay, last month's and this month's tith and other minor expencese like transport to take of. Also, there may be an application fee if i applied for certain universities. so yeah. i'm quite broke, as army only paid me 6 days of work, which isn't much (gov't takes more than they give). i had a lunch appoitment and 2 dinner appointments this week.
at the beginning of the week i pray to God and told Him how worried i was about money. should i cancel the dates? should i not pay bills. how about i tith altogether next month? so many questions and ways to save the money.
But in the end i surrendered all to God. all my financial worries and i knew He would take care of it. and praise God, He did.
i had lunch at Fish n Co, apparently they don't accept NETS. so i couldn't pay for it. but my friend was nice enough (thank God) to consider it a belated birthday present to me. =)
thank God. haha. so now dinner. by God's grace, everyone could make it for dinner on the same night. despite the last minute change of plans. my dinner was paid for, perhaps the guy who paid wanted to impress the girls so he paid for dinner. (no arguements there) haha.
Next we went to watch a movie, although i thought it was best to just sit around and catch up. catching up doens't cost as much you know. But the girls thought since the 'guys' paid for dinner, they'd pay for the movie. =))) God is good yes? haha.
The movie ended at 1145pm. Taxi from town has a $3.00 surcharge. i sent the two ladies back to their door and they insisted on paying for the fare. if i didn't accept the movie, they'd have left it in the cab so i didn't have a choice anyway.
So that's that. a whole day out and everything was taken cared of. Thank You God, my provider. You are so good!
oh, i said grace for lunch and dinner and my company weren't Christians, or not very strong ones so Thank God again. they even said amen after the prayer. it's ike a 5 in 1 testimony. or it could be 5 testimonies! the more the merrier!
moral is, leave it to God. surrender everything and He will provide. =)
