hmm i agree with Ed, it probably boils down to mentality. Whether we want to make that step to change, to put a mental thought into action; I guess this is the extra push that we have to discern for ourselves in a way. Anyways good job guys, keep it up!

yeah right on tops tim and ben. that got ME thinking. do i have an addictive personality? i think i do? sorry but an old spice girls songs... "too much of something is bad enough but somethings coming over me to make me wonder too much of nothing is just as tough"
addictions. while we're on this topic.. food. for me, its gotta be food. (kinda hard for me to be saying this) but yeah. people have this misconception that overweight people aren't trying to lose weight. they start piling them with advice and sometimes i feel like screaming: do you think I've NEVER heard any of this before? we have, and its a constant struggle. its not that we DON'T know what to do, but its a struggle of willpower. i think things would be fine as long as i cut down on that fast food and exercise. i used to cycle but i don't anymore. think i'm going to try swimming. last year, during the june holidays, my neighbours and me used to swim early in the mornings. anyone up for some regular exercise? i'm not much of a jogger though. i don't mind trying.

lol. I haven't exercised for a month, finally broke it yesterday since I'm finally on holidays. Stopped it last month cause of final exams as well as my Sydney trip. Well, Amanda, why not try uh, doing sit ups for starters, or half squats.. if you are lazy to go anywhere else and would like to exercise in the comfort of your own home. Oh and not forgetting skipping, it works miracles, i think i lost quite a bit skipping away.
Gah, i'm gaining back weight thanks to fried food and donuts. =/

yea skipping is the ultimate body definer, it'll give you your definitive body shape and tone up alot of areas especially your arms if you use a weighted jump rope, it's more effective than a normal one. anyway... digressing here, but i urge you to do it long term, have a goal - which is to be healthy all your life - so that you wont stop there after you've achieved your desired weight. some ppl stop going to the gym after they lose motivation key word is dedication. you can ask marcus about that, he got plenty lol. and that's exactly what we need for fighting our vices as well. and of course for God's strength to give you that dedication. after everything's been done always give the glory back to Him.

lol yeah... motivation, and self discipline! Well, i gymed twice for this week, so that's not bad. Hopefully i can shed off more pounds before i start to teach. hahahhaa.

haha hello ppl. long time since i've been here eh? anyways ben jus had to say that, but yeah! i am working on my addiction too! chris, we gotta make the deal more equal. from wad i see now its u having the benefit. in case u guys dint know, me and chris made a deal that if either one of us get back to an addiction, that person gotta treat that person to 2 double cheese. haha. but chris has a better deal then me. so yeah we'll talk things out! u guys shud try it! it also builds up ur honesty with ur partner (:

you sound as if you're married to chris haha... calling him partner. kidding.... anyway yea it's always good to have support from each other. that's what we are supposed to be doing, supporting each and every single one of us in the group by not becoming a stumbling block. of course inevitably we'll be closer to some than others but the key is not to get too focused only in helping a single soul. we all have to help each other out.
