Ok I borrowed this book from Jeremy chua through celestine and i think it'll appeal to all the rock fans in EXCESS. it's about this man David Pierce who used rock music and theater as a form of radical evangelism throughout the 80s and 90s. and it's really good. easy to read and the words are quite big. but seriously it's a captivating book on his journey with God, going to "dangerous" places of the world such as amsterdam, serbia, siberia, poland, vietnam etc to evangelise to the anti-christ, drug addicts, buddhists, muslims and prostitutes. He's got a band named "No Longer Music" and you can visit their website at www.nolongermusic.comThe official website of their evangelical ministry is www.steiger.orgWhat's best is that you can actually download the book for reading at this url: www.steiger.org/stuff_books.htmNo harm giving it a shot. Oh and the book also mentioned that they came to singapore to perform and evangelise before. interesting stuff!
